IT for Dummies?

I just discovered something new!! SO happy about it. Okay for a non-it-savvy person like me, of course id be excited!

I have to admit i have the tendency to take things for granted..CERTAIN things only..like.. anything that has to do with a computer, anti virus, formatting..

So last week an auditee passed me her thumbdrive and being the smart person that i am, i clicked on a suspicious looking file..THREE times! And right after that, everytime i created a new folder or copied a folder, a new folder (read: VIRUS!) appears and made my laptop SUPER slow! GRR.

My baby not so baby brother who is an expert at these things, was going away for a few days and i need my laptop fixed, PRONTO! So i called my one and only person i could think of.. IWAN!

That was some tutorial he gave me, when he said "ok type C-M-D..", i said.."Okay..Credit..Management..Department.." in which he replied.."thats..CMD = Command"..

Ohhh. O....kay..

DID YOU KNOW THERES AN APPLICATION CALLED..

"NEW FOLDER REMOVAL?"

wow! I mean... its like.. for every problem you have, theres an application for it!

Omg, okay i have a problem with a colleague...

Do u think they have an application called "colleague removal tool"?

BAHAHAHAHAH.

Gosh, u see my level of excitement here?

But i need to at least KNOW which windows im using.. i mean..XP & 7?

Uh.... NOT impressive when you DONT know which one ur using...

im using XP btw.
