A Free Sunday

This is my first ever weekend that I am at home, no plans whatsoever- even if i had one at the back of my head, theyre mostly pushed to next week (not postponing, im just living in THIS particular moment of freedom).


So many things have been happening, been going out here, there and everywhere. These events may not be in sequence, for i cant remember each and every date, truth be told. LOL!


Okay so right on top of my head now is........Last Friday Night, being the most recent one. Naqib and i went to watch a play called "Selipar Jepun Kasut Tumit Tinggi" at Publika, Mont Kiara. We headed there right after work and thankfully, traffic was bearable. We got lost trying to find Black Box and turned out we were the first 2 people to buy the tix!

I asked Naqib, "What if we were the only 2 to watch the play??"


Hahahaha I cant remember what he replied though. Anyways, we had dinner at this place called.. Lalllion? Pallilion? Service was oh-kay, food was average but hey, Plan B was extremely FULL!

After dinner we walked back to Black Box and it hasnt started so we detoured to the Art gallery. HAHA So i did 2 things on my checklist.


1. Watched a play (Not cuci-musical-ish but an actual theatre like mak-yong-ish)
2. Went to an art gallery and see what all the fuss is about with..ARTS.


I had no clue what those paintings meant, at some point i almost blurted (out loud) ..Hey i bet my niece can draw that! HEHEHE Okay so Zara is only a month old- that tiny doll of mine, but i bet when shes old enough, her drawings can be put there too, no? hahaha


Okay so we werent the only 2 to watch the play (thank God) but it was...interesting. FULL BLOWN Kelantan language, Naqib was laughing at the jokes (he went to a school in Kelantan for 2 years, HENCE!) and i was basically frowning-trying to digest the words but to no avail until at one point, i gave up and asked him..."Whats so funny? What is everybody laughing about??"


And he said.."Kopek besar means..Tet*k besar...."

But towards the end, they spoke in proper Malay so i understood THAT bit, finally! The play was about 2 person who met on a bus ride from KB to Singapore and somehow Cik Minah and Ji talked about the war, at times when Cik Minah was way younger and had flings with a Japanese dude and a Brit.... and as bimbotic as it sounds, after the play ended, i said to Naqib...


"So, this play.. kasut tumit tinggi masa dia muda and selipar Jepun masa tua la ek...."


In which he replied, "I thought its tumit tinggi for zaman British and Selipar Jepun time Jepun?"

Aaaanyways:


We headed out to Coffee Bean to unwind (ceh..), had hot chocolates and a slice of chocolate cake ( Im telling you i think he is sabotaging my diet!) Chocolate cake at 11pm?! hahahaha


And i only reach home at 12 ish.


Flat on my back till the next morning. Haaa~ What a night.

Speaking of plays, Naqib and i (again) went to watch Cuci the Musical last..Wednesday night..last-last...last..okay make it a few weeks back, at Istana Budaya. Iwan (another friend of mine) bought the tix and we got to sit at the 3rd row from the stage and i had the time of my life! Maybe cause I LOVE Afdlin and his whole gang, and they were hilarious. Seriously.

Okay and the rest of this post, ill put photos on what i have been doing, where i went- so on and so forth.


Hehe in other words, i am just being lazy.

I cant drink coffee but these, are my exceptions during working hours.

Last Saturday with Momsy and Tosh @ Sime Gallery. House hunting.

The following day- straight to Nilai with my bonda.

Was browsing my photo album on facebook and i found that i cant seem to let go of my blackberry!

Dropped by EY last week and met Cha Ling Jo Ezri Mot Chicha and the rest of the bunch! Missing those times!

Last Friday night @ Dome KLCC with Naqib. Man i LOVEEE Friday night out at an open place!

Lunch with Hana @ Kader. Thats a whole BUCKET of Dhall. You can never run out of Dhall.

My weekend activity 2 weekends ago @ PICC. Helping the cousins out at their booth. Man i LOVE this retail business! Hi there how may i assist you? hahaha!

Out with the girls last Sunday- missing out on the other 2.

That Sunday while waiting for that Diva above.

Last night @ Dewan Perdana Felda, accompanying Tootsie to her friend's wedding. Those bowls? WE WERE SUPPOSED TO SHARE ONE! LOL. no ur neva gonna live this down. hahahaha love yahhh!

Okay that concludes my days in and out up and down. With that, i can now conclude to you on WHY i refuse to go out this weekend, with the exception of last night.
